Plan Outline

Admission to Honours in Molecular Biology is competitive and depends on academic merit and the availability of approved supervision. Consideration of academic merit is focused on performance in third level BABS subjects and overall WAM. Students with an average overall WAM of 65 or lower and/or an average of 65 or lower in third-level BABS courses are usually not admitted; those achieving an average overall WAM of 65 or higher and an average of 65 or higher in third-level BABS courses may be admitted if approved supervision is available.

For further information on Molecular Biology Honours requirements and application processes, students should consult the School of Biotechnology & Biomolecular Sciences as early as possible.

Plan Structure

Enrolment in 48 units of credit taken as 24 UOC in two consecutive semesters over a 1 year period (or part-time equivalent).
