Plan Outline

This is the plan for a Major in Vision Science within the Bachelor of Science (Advanced) program. It is comprised of 150 UOC of courses as listed below. Students need to ensure that all other program requirements are met as per the 3931 Bachelor of Science (Advanced) / Bachelor of Arts program rules such that a total of 240 UOC is completed.

Stage 1
Note: Students intending to apply for transfer to Program 3952 should seek advice from the Optometry School Office about their course selection in Stage 1

Stage 2
Recommended elective:SCIF2041 Research Internship A

Note: Students who did not succeed in transferring to 3952 must complete PSYC1011 instead of PSYC2071

Stage 3
Recommended elective:SCIF3041 Research Internship B


Note: Students who did not succeed in transferring to 3952 must complete PSYC2071 instead of PSYC3221

Stage 4 (Honours)
48 UOC taken as 24 UOC during each of two semesters.
Note: Students who did not succeed in transferring to 3952 must also complete PSYC3221 in Stage 4
