This plan is for a Pharmacology major within the Bachelor of Science (Advanced) program. It is comprised of 138 UOC of courses as listed below. Students need to ensure that all other program requirements are met as per the 3936 Bachelor of Science (Advanced) / Bachelor of Social Science program rules such that a total of 240 UOC is completed.
Stage 1

Recommended elective: SCIF2041 Research Internship A
Stage 3
18 UOC from any of the following level III Pharmacology courses:
PLUS 12 UOC selected from:
Recommended elective: SCIF3041 Research Internship B
Stage 4 (Honours)
48 UOC taken over two semesters each consisting of 24 UOC or over four semesters each consisting of 12 UOC.
Subject to satisfactory progress throughout the program (normally a credit average), students may proceed to the Honours stage. Students should consult with the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at an early stage of study to ensure that the study plan being followed is best suited to lead to Stage 4 Honours. Students should also note general guidelines for Advanced Science Stage 4.
