Plan Outline

This plan is for a Medical Microbiology and Immunology major within the Bachelor of Science (Advanced) program. It is comprised of 132 UOC of courses as listed below. Students need to ensure that all other program requirements are met as per the 3931 Bachelor of Science (Advanced) / Bachelor of Arts program rules such that a total of 240 UOC is completed.

CHEM1011 Fundamentals of Chem 1A (6 UOC)
CHEM1021 Fundamentals of Chem 1B (6 UOC)
SCIF1121 Advanced Science: PPP (6 UOC)

Note: Higher level CHEM courses may be taken in place of CHEM1011 or CHEM1021 and a higher level MATH course may substitute for MATH1041.

Stage 2

BABS2202 Molecular Cell Biology 1 (6 UOC)
BIOC2101 Principles of Biochem (Adv) (6 UOC)
MICR2011 Microbiology 1 (6 UOC)

PLUS at least 6 UoC selected from:

BIOC2201 Principles of Mol. Biol (Adv) (6 UOC)
