Advanced German Studies - GERSB13400 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
This plan only applies to students who commenced their degree program before 2009.
The Advanced German Studies program has a flexible entry-point policy which allows students to enrol in the language program that builds on their existing language skills. Students are advised to consult the German Studies staff to plan their entry point in the language sequence. A major in Advanced German Studies requires students to complete 42 units of credit in German Studies courses.
Students who wish to enrol in a language course without completing the necessary prerequisites are required to complete an online placement application form before the commencement of the semester.
For more information, please see the School Website. For students admitted in their first year of study to GERS2400 / ARTS2510 or higher on the grounds of ability and/or previous study, such courses will be counted as Level 1 courses in terms of degree requirements.
Honours level study is available in German Studies. Students interested in Honours should refer to the Honours plan record for entry requirements.
Please consult the School Website for more detailed information about the requirements for entry to the Honours Program. |
