For a single major, 8 courses (48 UOC) must be completed in addition to completion of the BEc program Compulsory Level 1 core courses and one Required Level 1 Finance course.

Minor
For a minor in Financial Economics, students must complete the Level 1 core requirements for the BEc program. In addition, students must complete four (4) courses from the Required course list above. If one of the courses from the Required course list counts towards another Major or Minor, a course from the Elective list can be taken. Regardless, students must complete one Level 3 course.
Honours level study is also available for students completing the Financial Economics major. The following courses, taken as part of the Major or as additional electives, are recommeded as a good preparation for Honours:
