Plan Outline

The following courses must be taken in order to satisfy the requirements for a major in Climate Science in the Bachelor of Science (Advanced) program. Students should also ensure that they are following the program rules for the Bachelor of Science (Advanced)/ Bachelor of Arts program.

Plan Structure

Stage 1
PLUS 6 UOC from Chemistry, Physics or Biology

Note:
  • PHYS1121 has a co-requisite of MATH1131 or MATH1141
  • Please additionally seek advice from te School of BEES or the Director of Teaching in the Climate Change Research Centre to ensure you are taking appropriate elective courses.

Stage 2
PLUS at least 6 UOC from the courses listed below:
PLUS 30 UOC of additional elective courses as agreed to with the School of BEES or the Director of Teaching in the Climate Change Research Centre.

Stage 3
Recommended Elective:

SCIF3041 Research Internship B

Note: Where ordinary and advanced courses exits for the same course students are advised to take the advanced option.
