Plan Outline

This plan is for Honours in Safety Science within the program 3970.

Subject to certain conditions a student may be permitted to continue into a fourth year to complete an honours degree.

Plan Structure

Entry to Honours requires that a student complete at least 24 units at Level III in the relevant Major sequence and have the permission of the Head of School.

For enrolment, submit the honours offer letter and complete relevant paperwork at the Science Student Centre, Rm 128, Robert Webster Bldg.

The fourth year includes a research project and opens up opportunities for going on to a career in research in Safety Science. There are range of possible specialist areas of research in the School of Safety Science including ergonomics, toxicology, biomechanics, and safety management
