This plan is for a double major in Korean Studies.
A double major consists of 84 units of credit of which each approved discipline is 42 units of credit (excluding Industrial Training components when included in program requirements).
To obtain a double major in Korean Studies, a student must complete 42 units of credit in Korean Studies: (1) the completion of at least four consecutive language courses; (2) the completion of KORE3001 / ARTS3661 or higher; (3) the completion of at least one course from Korean Culture Studies.
Honours level study is available in Korean Studies. Students interested in Honours should refer to the Honours plan record for entry requirements.
Students with prior knowledge of Korean or background speakers will be assessed in order to gain entry into an appropriate starting language course. For further information please refer to the School Website
For students admitted in their first year of study to KORE2000 / ARTS2660 or higher on the grounds of ability and/or previous study, such courses will be counted as Level 1 courses in terms of degree requirements. |
