Plan Outline


International Business is a rapidly growing field of study dealing with the development, strategy, and management of multinational enterprises. The International Business specialisation looks at how firms conduct operations globally, how the competitive international environment shapes business and how the roles and responsibilities of firms (and managers) develop with international competition.

Plan Structure


Students must complete:
  • 48 units of credit (UOC) from the Required and Options Course List below to fulfil requirements for a single major
  • 42 units of credit (UOC) from the Required and Options Course List below to fulfil requirements for a double major
  • 24 units of credit (UOC) from the Required Course List below to fulfil requirements for a minor

Note:
1. Other Modern Languages may be taken as International Business options: Please see Modern Languages stream.

2. Students may count relevant courses offered in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences as List B options with the prior approval of the Head of School.

Honours


Honours level study is available for International Business students.

Students interested in studying at Honours Level should refer to the relevant Honours plan record for entry requirements.
