Plan Structure

Students undertaking the Food Process Engineering plan CEICF13040 will follow the structure of program 3040- Chemical Engineering with the following substitutions:
  • BABS1210 Molecules, Cells and Genes replaces CEIC1000 as the recommended first year elective
  • FOOD1210 Chemistry, Biochemistry and Microbiology of Foods replaces CEIC2004
  • CHEM2921 Food Chemistry 1 replaces CEIC2005
  • FOOD2320 Food Microbiology replaces CEIC3000
  • FOOD2340 Food Safety replaces CEIC3002
  • FOOD1370 Food Preservation: Principles and Applications replaces CEIC4004
