Plan Outline

For entry to Honours students must have completed 54 units of credit in a major sequence in Media, Culture and Technology, Film or Theatre and Performance Studies, with a grade average of 70% or higher and permission from the discipline advisor.

Plan Structure

Students are required to:

a) Undertake either an original piece of research extending throughout the year and submit a thesis based upon it or a practical project and report.
b) Complete two seminars, one of which is compulsory. A choice of seminars enables students to pursue a specialisation in media, theatre and performance and film or work in an interdisciplinary mode across the school's major programs.

In addition to seminar and practical project/thesis work students are required to attend and contribute to regular thesis workshops.
