Plan Outline

This plan is for students enrolled in Environmental Science, undertaking a disciplinary specialisation in Chemistry.

Students choose a disciplinary specialisation in combination with the core component of the Environmental Science degree. See the 3988 Program Structure for core courses to be taken in addition to the courses listed below.

In order to complete a disciplinary specialisation in Chemistry, students must successfully complete the core 3988 courses plus the following courses:

Level II
PLUS 12 UOC from:

Level III
PLUS 6 UOC from:
  • A further 6 UOC of Level II Chemistry
Note: Students in the Chemistry specialisation take CHEM3311 Environmental Chemistry as the Stage 3 core course, instead of CHEM3901.
