Plan Outline

This plan is designed for Commerce/Law students who wish to Major in Business Economics.

Plan Structure

Year 1

Year 2
PLUS three Businesss Economics electives and one free option (totalling 24 UOC)

Year 3
PLUS three Business Economics electives and one free option (totalling 24 UOC)

Year 4
PLUS Law electives totalling 16 units of credit

PLUS one of the following:
Year 5

Law electives totalling 48 units of credit.

Honours

Honours level study is also available in Business Economics.

To be admitted into Honours in the School of Economics, a candidate must have completed the equivalent of a BEc or a BCom degree in economics with a grade point average of at least 70% on second and third level courses.

Students interested in Honours should refer to the Honours plan record for entry requirements.

Business Economics Electives

Business Economics electives are to be selected from Lists A and B under the standard Business Economics plan.

At least two options must be chosen from List B.
