Plan Summary
This plan is for a major in Psychology within the program 3400.
Psychology is the scientific study of human behaviour. Students should be aware that a Psychology major sequence in the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Social Science degrees does not satisfy the requirements for an "accredited three-year sequence in Psychology" as described below. To satisfy these requirements, students must complete three courses in addition to the major sequence. Level I Psychology Courses

A major in Psychology is obtained by the completion of 42 UOC (7 courses) which consist of PSYC1001 and PSYC1011, PSYC2001, and four other Psychology Upper Level II or Level III courses (either one Level II and three Level III, or two Level II and two Level III).
An accredited three-year sequence in Psychology is obtained by the completion of 60 UOC (10 courses) which consist of PSYC1001 and PSYC1011, PSYC2001 and three other Psychology Upper Level II courses, and PSYC3001 and three other Psychology Upper Level III courses including one course from at least two of the following three elective groups: Advanced Perceptual/Cognitive
