Plan Outline

This plan is for students in wishing to undertake a major sequence in Management.

The School of Organisation and Management is located in the Faculty of Business.

Specialisation in human resource management provides a strong practical and theoretical grounding in the policies and processes involved in the management of people at work. In a climate of rapid economic change, effective labour management is being seen as a critical component of the operation and strategic planning of both private firms and public sector organisations.

Plan Structure

Students must complete:
  • For a single major in Management students complete the 5 required Management courses and 3 courses from Options List. At least one of Options must be selected from List A.
  • For a double major in HRM students complete the 5 required Mangement courses and 2 courses from Options List. At least one of Options must be selected from List A.
  • For a minor in Management, students complete MGMT1001, MGMT1002, 1 Option from Lisa A and 1 Option from List B
