Plan Outline

This plan is for a major in Mathematics and Finance in an Advanced Science program.

The Mathematics and Finance plan is a four year plan in which Honours may be awarded on the basis of a weighted average of all courses studied in the plan.

Stage 1
  • General Education (3 UOC)

Stage 2
PLUS one course from:

  • General Education (3 UOC)

Stage 3
  • Further Level III Mathematics courses totalling 6 UOC*
  • Further Level II or III Mathematics courses totalling 3 UOC*
  • Further Level III Finance courses totalling 6 UOC
  • Elective courses totalling 6 UOC
  • General Education (6 UOC)

Stage 4
  • Further Level III Mathematics courses totalling 12 UOC*
  • Further Level III Finance courses totalling 6 Elective courses totalling 12 UOC

NOTES

* It is recommended that the choice of Mathematics courses in Stages 3 and 4 include at least 6 UOC from each of the following 3 groups:
