Plan Outline

This plan is for students enrolled in Combined Science and Innovation Management Program.

The Diploma aims to encourage an entrepreneurial mind-set and provide students with the knowledge and skills needed for developing business opportunities based on scientific innovation.

Plan Structure

To satisfy the requirements for a Diploma in Innovation Management, students must successfully complete the following courses:

Core
Note: BIOT3071 and BIOT3091 courses can be taken as part of the B.Sc. program providing approval is given by program authorities and/or Science Student Office.

Electives
Any combination of the following courses to achieve the required 36 UOC attributable to the Diploma in Innovation Management
Note: For the award of the Diploma in Innovation Management, students must complete all core courses in the study plan as well as an Innovation in Practice course at an appropriate UOC level. Students who take BIOT3071 and BIOT3091 courses as part of their B.Sc. program must complete Innovation in Practice courses at a sufficient UOC level to meet the total 36 UOC requirement for the award of the Diploma.
