This plan is for a double major in Economic History. It is for Bachelor of Commerce (Services Marketing - Tourism & Hospitality) students only.

For students undertaking the Bachelor of Economics program who are interested in completing a major in Economic History please refer to the Economic History plan

Economic History studies economic processes and events over the long run in the context of social, political, demographic, and technological developments.

Plan Structure

  • For a minor students must complete four courses from the Economic History options list
  • For a double major students must complete seven courses from the Economic History list

Bachelor of Commerce (Services Marketing - Tourism & Hospitality) students who commenced studies prior to 2007 and are completing a Economic History double major are to refer to previous editions of the Online Handbook for major requirements
