Plan Outline

Courses in Indonesian Studies are offered for both students with no prior knowledge of the language and for those with HSC Indonesian. There are also courses available for native speakers.

This plan is available to students commencing at Beginners' and Intermediate entry levels.

Plan Structure

In order to count Indonesian Studies as a major sequence, students must complete 42 units of credit in Indonesian language and Indonesian Studies courses.

Beginners' entry level

Year 1 INDO1001 and INDO1002 (12uoc)
Year 2 INDO2001 and INDO2002 (12uoc)
Year 3 INDO3001 and INDO3002 (12uoc) plus 1 Indonesian Studies course (6uoc)

Intermediate entry level

Year 1 INDO2001 and INDO2002 (12uoc)
Year 2 INDO3001 and INDO3002 (12uoc)
Year 3 3 Indonesian Studies courses (18uoc)

Honours

Honours level study is available in Indonesian Studies. Students interested in Honours should refer to the Honours plan record for entry requirements.
