Plan Outline

To satisfy the Honours requirements for Finance, students undertake an additional year of study, completing Honours level courses (both compulsory and elective) and undertaking a research thesis. Students must have completed the prerequisite courses prior to their Honours year. This program is available to the end of Year 3 only for BEc students and to the end of fourth year for BCom students only.

Plan Structure

In order to enrol in Honours, students must have completed a major sequence in Finance and satisfied Honours prerequisites. Prior to their Honours year, students must complete the following prerequisite courses:

During Session 1 of their Honours year, students must complete the following three compulsory courses:

During Session 1, Students must also complete ONE elective course from the following:

Honours Options
During Session 2 of their Honours year, students undertake a Research thesis, and must enrol in the Thesis course for Finance.
