This is an Honours plan in Business Strategy & Economic Management. It is for Bachelor of Commerce students only.

Plan Structure

Year 4 Required Courses

ECON4102 Industrial Organisation (6 UOC)
ECON4127 Thesis (Economics) (12 UOC)

PLUS three further courses from:

ECON4100 Advanced Economic Analysis (6 UOC)
ECON4101 International Trade (6 UOC)
ECON4103 Business Cycles and Growth (6 UOC)
ECON4104 Economics of Labour Markets (6 UOC)
ECON4105 Seminar in Research Methods (6 UOC)
ECON4201 Applied Econometrics (6 UOC)

In certain circumstances and with the permission of the Head of School, one third year option course from the option list for the Business Strategy and Economic Management disciplinary stream, or a 4th year course from any school in the FCE, may be substituted for one of the Fourth Year Honours options.

For each course the UOC value is 6, except ECON4127 for which the UOC is 24 (over two sessions).
