These are the plan requirements for the Study Plan of Ecology in Advanced Science.

Plan Structure

Stage 1
  • One General Education course (3 UOC)
  • Electives courses totalling 18 UOC

Stage 2
PLUS choose 6 units of credit from:
  • One General Education course (3 UOC)
  • Elective courses totalling 24 UOC (Recommended: BIOS2031, BIOS2051, BIOS2061 and BIOS2621).

Stage 3
Choose courses totalling 36 UOC from:
Note: Where ordinary and advanced options exist for the same course, students are advised to take the advanced option.
  • Elective courses totalling 6 UOC
  • General Education courses totalling 6 UOC

Stage 4
Entry requires the completion of Stages 1-3 of the Advance Science plan in Ecology or Biological Science.

Required courses are as follows:

24 UOC of project courses from the list below:
AND

12 UOC of Stage 3 Biology courses (not completed previously) or other Science courses as approved by the Honours coordinator.
