Description

Geography 1B takes you on a journey of Global Geography. You will do what geographers have always done and ask: “Why is it like that over there?” The course starts by looking at the physical nature of the earth and progresses to examine humans and the way we interact with our environment. Alongside this, you will be introduced to the quantitative and qualitative methods used in geography. Geography 1B builds on the themes of interconnectedness presented in Geography 1A and sets you up for more specialised topics in second year.
