Description
This course provides an overview of the changing nature of disease burdens in different population settings and the role physical activity and nutrition have to play. The course will examine the contextual factors that influence the success or failure of population-based physical activity and nutrition interventions. Successful completion of the course will enable students to develop skills in critiquing interventions and policies that aim to change population risk factors, a critical competency needed to engage in public health practice.
