Description

Students develop advanced knowledge of contemporary landscape design theory and practice through a detailed review of established and emerging theory and design projects. Students investigate and test current design theories relevant to landscape architecture through critical analysis of recent work. Assessment activities focus on developing critical methodological and stylistic skills involved in researching, writing, drawing and formulating disciplinary positions. Each student prepares a literature review, a precedent analysis and a design research proposal which informs and supports their design process for the Graduating Studio.
