Description

This course is an introduction to the challenges of managing risk in the construction industry. The construction industry is a highly risky environment in which to do business and this course has a very practical focus. Drawing on the latest research and best practice from many industries around the world, it will give students the intellectual and practical skills to manage all types of risk. The latter part of the course focuses specifically on workplace welfare, health and safety risks in the construction industry and will introduce students to contemporary ideas and best practice around workplace welfare, health and safety management strategies.
