Subject Area: Chinese Studies
This course provides a professional level program in Chinese language and culture studies. It is designed for students entering the Chinese program at the professional level. It also serves as an optional course for those who have completed Advanced Chinese B (ARTS3451). The medium of instruction is Chinese. By studying a wide range of texts that showcase the use and evolution of vernacular Chinese, you will continue to improve your integrated language skills, especially proficiency in reading and writing, as well as develop a sense of the cultural history of Chinese language.
