Description

Contemporary Creative Practices: Contexts is an introductory course for commencing students across all UNSW Art & Design Degrees that examines the historical and theoretical contexts for major concepts in art, design and media practices in the 21st century. Complimenting SAHT1102 Contemporary Creative Practices: Methods, this course examines in depth two key themes across art, design and media art such as changing environments, creative experimentation and sustainable practice in order to critically discuss and historically contextualize creative practices.
