Description
The course completes the program objectives; it enables you to demonstrate your mastery of the discipline-specific knowledge that you have developed throughout the degree. In the course you will debate and discuss significant problems in the field, with arguments based on key articles, scores and recordings. In this way it provides a forum for you to investigate aspects of music that form current scholarly disagreements. You will also gain in-depth familiarity with a variety of approaches to music in its interdisciplinary context.
