Description
At the end of this course, the students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of:
- Legal & political context of mining in an international location
- Principles of Sustainable Development
- Social & stakeholder impact analysis
- Major issues associated with social/community impacts of mining internationally
- The global impacts of mining coal, uranium, gold, copper and other significant commodities
- Cross cultural management strategies
