Description

This course is part of the practice orientated teaching trajectory ‘Contextualising’, Stream 4: Smart and Ubiquitous Cities, in the student specialisation journey. The course engages students with cutting edge global city concepts in and outside of Australia complying with the local cultural and social structures.
An understanding of ubiquitous planning guidelines combined with knowledge in sensor technology and data gathering will enable students to analyse urban data that will influence the design process in smart cities.
Learning and assessment is based on design and planning exercises within a computer lab environment.
