The course comprises the aeronautical theory and associated ground training for Stage 2 of the Bachelor of Aviation (Flying). Included are all theory requirements for the issue of a Commercial Pilot (Aeroplane) Licence (CP(A)L) with instrument flying privileges, namely CP(A)L theory, taught as seven discrete modules, and Instrument Rating theory. This course encompasses Phases 6 – 8 as detailed in the UNSW Manual of Flight Training, the Civil Aviation Safety Authority Day VFR Syllabus – Aeroplane. Practical flying training (AVIASC12) is a highly recommended adjunct to this course.
