Description
Subject Area: Philosophy
This course engages with the writings of the twentieth-century German thinker Martin Heidegger. Questions raised by Heidegger and pursued in this course include: the meaning of being and human existence, the ontological status of moods and their relationship to the world, the essence of truth, and the limits of metaphysics. The aim of the course is for students to develop a critical appreciation of the work of this major thinker and its place in the philosophical tradition.
