Description

In the course students use spatial and environmental design that engage with new processes and technologies.
An understanding of parametric, solid and surface modelling is assumed. New skills in applying and connecting electronic sensors combined with software (Processing) are taught. Learning and assessment is based on design experiments in a computer lab based studio environment designed and programmed via artifacts (physical and/or virtual).
Project(s) designed in this course are artefacts i.e. an object or a small design that could be altered and transformed in real-time in an interactive process either in a virtual environment (Gaming) and/or in a physical environment.
