Description

Cross-Media Research Methodologies will provide you with a framework to generate your own research methodologies and developing an artistic research proposal that builds on the experimental themes developed in your previous Cross-Media courses.

Generating your own research methodologies will help to enhanced your understanding of the wider social and cultural context and your development of strategies for positioning your individual creative work. In the process you will create an experimental playground for material investigations and critical reflection, with encouragement to further explore a range of methods, media and processes. This includes the application of systems thinking, participatory practices, embodied agencies or speculative media futures in imaginative, risk-taking and critical ways. Your experimental research will form the basis for the design and articulation of a research project suitable for further development in your Honours year.
