Description

Cross-Media Studio in Context will provide you with an intensive experience of the nature and potential of experimentation that will encourage you to strive for increasingly ambitious approaches to practice. You will learn to develop artistic strategies and possibilities in transdisciplinary art practice within a broader cultural and theoretical framework.

By combining various creative ideologies associated with the arts, this course promotes studio-based research practices within the areas of emerging technologies. This will enable you to develop a conceptual basis for your indvidual research into areas of cross media practice. Cross-Media Studio in Context builds on studies in previous Cross-Media courses to help you establish the basis for a more committed and focused body of studio research suitable for further development in the honours year.
