Description

In this course, students will gain “hands-on” experience of the psychological research process, by undertaking an internship in a lab within the School of Psychology. Students will complete a short experimental research project, supervised by a member of academic staff. The internship may involve project planning, literature review, project development, experimental work, statistical analyses, oral and written reporting and reflection-based learning.


Note: Enrolment in this course is by invitation and subject to availability of places. Students will be invited to apply in November (for Session 1) and April (for Session 2). Students will give preferences for supervisors/research areas. Students will only been enrolled if they meet the minimum WAM requirements and there is a suitable supervisor available. Questions regarding the course should be directed to the course convenor in the School of Psychology.
