Description

This course offers a perspective on the recent and breaking events which are characteristic of the aviation industry, and the roles played by government, organisations and individuals in adapting to such events. The focus will include the changing perspective of international and national regulation, government aviation policy, and implementation of government policy by the executive arm of government. The syllabus also includes analyses of current national and international economic affairs, and the way in which airlines and airports adapt to the ongoing changes. Issues of industrial relations employment and organisational culture will be addressed, and the role of the media in reporting change, or influencing public opinion and change will be described.
