Space groups; crystallography; specimen preparation; optical and electron microscopy; image analysis and stereology; x‐ray, electron, and neutron diffraction; x‐ray fluorescence, infrared spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, x‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy; differential scanning calorimetry, thermal gravimetric analysis, dynamic thermal analysis; non‐destructive analysis ‐ ultrasonics, radiography, computed tomography.
