Description

This course examines the strategic role of information systems and technology in the organisation. The course considers the role IS/IT plays in the creation and realisation of the business strategy. This course aims to familiarise you with the key concepts, practices and issues in IS/IT strategy. It will provide you with sufficient practical and theoretical knowledge to enable you to (i) apply IS/IT tools and frameworks to real life case studies and (ii) meaningfully participate in an IS/IT strategy. In addition to providing these domain skills, we will also seek to enhance your communication, presentation, problem solving and critical thinking skills through class work and assignments.
