Description

This is a foundational course that introduces you to the use of IS in business and society. It aims to give you an appreciation of how existing and emerging technology affects (i) the operation and management of businesses, (ii) the relationships that businesses have with external entities (customers, suppliers, regulators etc), and (iii) the products and services that businesses can offer. The course aims to further your development as scholars and future business professionals by refining your communication and group-work skills, improving your time management, and assisting with your development of research skills.
