Description

This course provides an opportunity for students to understand the structure and practice of education in NSW and appreciate the cognitive and societal factors that shape students’ experiences and educational outcomes. Through school-based fieldwork the course enables students to observe and interact with a diverse range of students and professional educators, and to actively reflect on the teaching and learning that is taking place in an educational institution. This course consists of 4 weeks of lectures, and 10 days of fieldwork in a specific school community.
