Description

This travel study course to Tokyo and Kyoto in Japan focuses on the interrelationship between journey, drawing and design. Involving research on aspects of the history and culture of Japan as well as the documentation and surveying of buildings, cultural artifacts, landscape and urban settings through drawing, the course culminates in the formulation of a theoretical design proposal.

Note: This Built Environment Interdisciplinary course is best suited to students enrolled into Architectural Studies; Interior Architecture & Landscape Architecture
