Subject Area: English
This course investigates some of the major issues that arise in literatures written by colonized and formerly colonized peoples around the globe. Using theoretical, cultural, poetic, and fictional texts the course will examine fundamental issues such as representation, race, gender, ethnicity, indigeneity and language transformation.
