Description

An examination of key buildings and architects of Western Europe, North America, Australia and Asia from the advent of modernism onwards. The selected buildings will vary in scale from domestic to public, and represent an overview of key architects and movements or approaches from the early twentieth century to the present. They will be examined in terms of key concepts and issues, including: planning, intellectual context, stylistic tendencies, spatial characteristics, materials and response to physical context.
