Description This course offers the opportunity for students to explore how recent developments in economic analysis can be brought to bear on intra and inter organisational issues. It explains the strategic behaviour of people and organisations in a variety of contexts, using the tools of applied game theory and information economics. The emphasis of the course is on clear conceptual thinking and useful, relevant applications rather than technical analysis. The course aims to make students conversant with the principles of strategic thinking, allowing them to explain the strategic behaviour of people and organisations and apply strategic principles to their own decision making.
