Description

This course will examine the history and theories behind cross-disciplinary tendencies in modern art.  The focus will be on international and Australian art practices from the 1960s to the present that interface with other fields, including design, language, architecture, science, anthropology, and models of community.  The course interrogates the historical and theoretical implications of modern art's dialogue with other disciplines and competencies.
