Description This course introduces the physiological and psychological aspects of ergonomics/ human factors and their application to product use, work, environment effects and human/machine interface. The course aims to equip students to investigate human-use implications of their design activities with regard to issues such as usability, comfort, efficiency and safety. Project work and workshops will focus on human factors/ ergonomics principles and research methods and their application in Industrial Design and product development.
