Description

This course gives an explanation of how aircrafts fly and how engineering technologies relate to the vehicle. Topics include layout of the aircraft such as structure, engines, systems and avionics; materials used in construction, introduction to lift, drag and thrust and design of aerofoils. It covers concepts and nomenclature relating to flight vehicles and the significance of aircraft configurations and flight systems.
